Medical Education: Diversity Talks
This session featured an exciting speaker, Dr. Tiffany L. Carson, who spoke about her experience as an applied epidemiologist. She has a wide breadth of experience both within two critical realms of population health: obesity treatment and cancer prevention. She specifically has been involved in observational and intervention studies that examine the behavioral and biological aspects affecting both obesity and cancer incidence. Hear more about how these issues intersect with race during this talk.
